Gravy beef over mashed potatoes

There are some people who like to cook at home, but they are really busy, maybe they work or having studies, but don't worry we are here to help with this proposition that doesn't take even one hour, but it is one of the most delicious and easy recipes you could prepare in the weekend.

Ingredients of mashed potatoes:

Two pounds of peeled and cutted potatoes. 

4 tablespoons of butter . 

Half cup of milk. 

Salt and black pepper to your liking. 

Gravy and ground beef ingredients:

Half kilogram of ground beef or any meat you like but it is better with beef . 

One medium diced onion. 

Two minced garlic cloves. 

Two tablespoons of flour. 

Two cups of beef broth. 

Worcestershire sauce about one tablespoon. 

Salt and pepper. 

Optional ingredient: one cup of frozen carrot and peas for nutritional values. 

Boil the cutted potatoes in a large pot on medium heat with a pinch of salt for 20 minutes. 

When potatoes are done, drain it and add mashed potatoes's ingredients and mix well, then cover it and set it aside. 

Cooking of meat with gravy sauce:

Most important thing about this step is cooking the meat on medium to high heat until becomes brown and drain well the excess fats from the skillet. 

Add cutted onions with minced garlic and cook them for some 5 minutes. 

To start the process of making gravy sauce on beef, sprinkle flour and cook it two minutes to avoid raw flour taste. 

Gradually add the broth and the Worcestershire sauce and mix to remove the browned stuffs from the base of the pot, bring everything to a simmer and finally add frozen carrots if desired and let the texture thicken. 

Salt and pepper everything in the end of cooking. 

For serving idea, you could spoon mashed potatoes into deep bowl or into basic plates, top it with the amazing gravy beef mixture. 

It's better when served hot.
