Easy Peanut Butter Fudge

Easy Peanut Butter Fudge

This is a simple peanut butter fudge I make when I want something quick and sweet without turning on the oven. Smooth, soft, and thick, poured into one dish and left to set. It’s the old-school kind of peanut butter fudge that cuts clean but still melts a little. If you’re searching for easy peanut butter fudge or homemade peanut butter fudge, this is exactly that. No shortcuts, no extras.

The key is not overcooking it. Once it comes together, you move fast. It firms up as it cools, so don’t wait around. I usually make this in a small glass dish and slice it once it’s fully set.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation / How to Make It

I lined a square dish with parchment paper. Did that first so I didn’t have to rush later.

Added the sugar and milk to a saucepan. Cooked over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolved. Once it started bubbling, I stopped stirring.

Let it boil for a few minutes. Not too long. Just until it looked slightly thicker. Pulled it off the heat before it darkened.

Added the peanut butter and vanilla right away. Stirred until everything melted and turned smooth. It thickened fast.

Poured it into the dish and spread it out. Didn’t smooth it too much. Let it cool at room temperature until firm.

Cut into squares once set. Soft texture, strong peanut butter flavor, no baking needed.
