- 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Cream Cheese Layer
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Cobbler Topping
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, toss the sliced bananas with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over the banana layer.
Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk until just combined, then mix in the melted butter.
Pour the batter evenly over the banana and cream cheese layers. Do not stir.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cobbler is bubbling around the edges.
Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
