Soft Hawaiian sweet rolls filled with creamy cheesecake filling and topped with a sweet vanilla glaze. An easy bakery-style dessert everyone will love!
Ingredients
- 1 package King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
Slice the sweet rolls horizontally while keeping them connected. Place the bottom half into the baking dish.
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the rolls.
Place the top half of the rolls back on and brush with melted butter.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy on top.
For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over the warm danish before serving.
