Juicy pork chops baked with caramelized pineapple and a rich, sweet-savory sauce. An easy and flavorful dish perfect for dinner!
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 can pineapple rings (juice reserved)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
In a pan, heat olive oil and sear pork chops for 2–3 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
Place pork chops in a baking dish.
In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add pineapple juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Pour the sauce over the pork chops. Top each chop with a pineapple ring.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until the pork is cooked through and tender.
Spoon sauce over the top before serving. Enjoy!
