King’s Hawaiian Cheesecake Danish

A soft, sweet, and creamy dessert made with Hawaiian rolls and a rich cheesecake filling. Perfect for breakfast or dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 rolls)
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Glaze (Optional)

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

Spread the mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.

Place the top half of the rolls back on and brush with melted butter.

Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla, then drizzle over the warm danish.

Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
